I'm gonna go for a long walk down the local country park and see if anything inspires tomorrow to get out of this slump. I have a few ideas. But what's gutting is that I probably won't be able to do any HDR because my new 4 gb memory card is already on the blink and it'll only hold 100 photos. Memory cards are gay.

I am not feeling any photos I take. I hate it when this happens and it always seems to happen in the new year. Nothing inspires me and nothing looks good. Pffff. Does anyone else feel like this at this time of year?

probably do some self portraits but I hate being in front of the camera. I have an idea, but I can never get a decent background. Hmmm..

At 9.32am precisely. I think the postman shit a brick when he saw my hair.
We went for a walk to the countryside and I got some good stuff.
Most of the photos where of my dog enjoying the snow.
We followed deer tracks for miles but didn't see any then we followed rabbit prints that lead us to wee and rabbit poo and some pheasant tracks.

I got some shots of an old wind mill then my memory card decided that it didn't want to work anymore so we came home, I think it needs formatting.

I think my lens is fabulous.
I need a ton of practice though loads of things where out of focus and it's really hard trying to focus manually so auto focus was used quite a bit.
I think a tripod wouldn't have gone a miss but I was so excited I forgot it!
I need to get the lens a really good clean because my dog decided to head butt it so I have dog snot all over it.
